Never install it vertically or on the ceiling as indicated in picture 2 The product must not be mounted on any inflammable surface such as wood or plastic. Any inflammable materials must be at least 70 cm. away from the front face. This is also the minimum distance the user has to keep from the product because during use the front grille gets hot. The appliance must not operate in rooms where danger can arise from explosive gases or where inflammable materials are being used, such as wood block or PVC flooring is being laid or sealed Care should be taken to mount the appliance so that the product and the pull cord switch are out of the reach of children. If it is installed in a bathroom, it should be positioned so that it cannot be touched by anyone who is in the bath or in the shower. After use we recommend to leave the product cool down for at least 10 – 15 minutes before touching it st Before the appliance is started up for the 1 time check that all the plastic pieces used in the packaging or to protect the tube element have been removed Installation. We recommend to switch off the mains electricity supply before proceeding with the following steps. • Remove the front cover of the control unit by unscrewing the cross head screw on the front (picture 4) • Prepare the 3 holes (diam. 5mm) in the wall respecting the distances shown in picture 5. You can also use the control unit or the detachable frame from the box as a reference. See picture 6. • Insert the 3 rawplugs you have found in the box. • Feed the electric lead in from behind through the round opening of the control unit and make connections according to the following instructions (Picture 9). • Fasten the appliance to the wall using the supplied screws (picture 10);  • This infrared quartz heater can be installed with the control unit on the right ( as supplied) or on the left ( pictures 7 and 8). The product is pre-assembled to be installed with the control unit on the right. If you want to turn it to the left you have to: • Keep the product horizontally (do not pivot it!); • Remove the screw from the indicated position “1” (see pictures 7a and 7b); • Turn the heater and replace the screw in position “2” (see pictures 7c and 7d); • Change the switch cord pattern. The cord must always exit from the bottom of the control unit (see pictures 7a and 7d). • • • The appliance may only be connected to a 1/N/PE 230V AC 50 Hz supply with a three core lead ( phase, neutral and earth wires). If the cordset is to be used we recommend to use a rubber coated one (type H05-RRF) with at least a 3 x 1 mm2 section . The safety precautions usual in the country of use and the regulations of the local electricity supply are to be observed. The appliance is fitted in the factory with an all – pole switch providing a contact break distance of ≥ 3 mm. For the connection of the wires to the mains electricity supply the live phase (brown color) is to be connected to the “L” marked pole, the neutral (blue color) to the “N” pole and the earthing lead (yellow-green) to the specifically marked pole . (picture 9) After having connected the product to the net is important to close the product properly: • DO NOT pivot the product upwards; • BE SURE that the fixing screw of the front cover is on the top of the product as shown in picture 4. Dies ist auch der Mindestabstand, den der Benutzer einzuhalten hat, da sich der Gitterrost bei Gebrauch stark erhitzt. Das Gerät nie in Räumen verwenden, wo brennbare oder explosive Dämpfe oder Gase entstehen, wie beispielsweise Lacke oder Lösungsmittel. Das Produkt so installieren, dass der Schalter für Kinder unerreichbar ist. Wird das Gerät im Bad eingebaut, ist darauf zu achten, dass der Schalter während des Badens oder Duschens nicht bedient werden kann. Beim Einbau in feuchten Räumen oder Bädern sind die in den in Ihrem Land geltenden Vorschriften zur Installation beschriebenen Mindestabsstände zu beachten. In keinem Fall aber darf das Gerät in Bereichen, die mit 0, 1 und 2 in Abbildung 3 grau gekennzeichnet sind, eingebaut werden. Wenn Sie nach der Verwendung das Gerät reinigen oder ausrichten wollen, lassen Sie es wenigstens 10 – 15 Minuten abkühlen. Versichern Sie sich vor dem ersten Gebrauch, dass die Styroporabdeckungen der Widerstände entfernt wurden. Installierung : Es wird empfohlen, die Versorgungsspannung auszuschalten, bevor folgende Scritte unternommen werden. • Den Deckel des Steuerbereichs abnehmen, indem er abgeschraubt wird (Abbildung 4) • Bohren Sie drei Löcher von 5 mm Durchmesser in die Mauer und beachten Sie dabei die in Abbildung 5 angegebenen Abstände. Sie können auch die Kontrolleinheit oder die Schablone aus Karton zu Hilfe nehmen, die Sie in der Verpackung finden (unterhalb des Produkts), Abbildung 6. • Die Dübel in die Löcher stecken ( sie werden in der Schachtel mitgeliefert) • Führen Sie das Stromzufuhrkabel durch das Loch hinter dem Steuerkörper durch und schließen Sie es an die Klemmleiste an (Abbildung 9)  • • Befestigen Sie das Gerät mit den drei Schrauben an der Wand, wie in Abbildung 10 Dieses Produkt kann mit dem Zugschalter zu Ihrer Rechten installiert werden, so wie es verkauft wird, oder zu Ihrer Linken (Abbildungen 7 und 8). Wenn Sie es mit dem Schalter zu Ihrer Linken installieren möchten, müssen Sie folgendermaßen vorgehen: • Halten Sie das Produkt in waagerechter Stellung und drehen Sie es nicht. • Nehmen Sie die in Abb. 7a, 7b angezeigte Schraube aus der Position 1 und schrauben Sie sie wieder in Position 2 ein, wie in Abb. 7c und 7d angegeben, wobei das Produkt um180° gedreht wird. • Wechseln Sie die Ausgangsbohrung der Schnur des Schalters, wie in den Abbildungen 7a und 7d gezeigt. Die Schnur muss immer unten austreten. Das Anschlusskabel muss 3 Leiter ( Phase, Neutro und Erde) haben und aus Gummi des Typs H05RRF mit einem Schnitt von mindestens 3 * 1 mm2 betsehen. Beachten Sie die in Ihrem Land geltenden Installierungsvorschriften. Das Gerät wird mit einem omnipolaren Schalter ausgestattet mit Kontaktöffnung von mindestens 3 mm geliefert. Verbinden Sie während des Anschlusses des Geräts den braunen Terminal mit dem mit L gekennzeichneten Klemmleistenpol, den blauen Terminale mit dem mit N gekennzeichneten und den grün-gelben mit dem mit gekennzeichneten ( Abbildung 9) Nachdem das Gerät an das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist, muss der Deckel korrekt geschlossen werden. • DAS GERÄT NICHT ZUR DECKE DREHEN. • VERSICHERN SIE SICH, DASS SICH DIE BEFESTIGUNGSSCHRAUBE DES DECKELS OBEN BEFINDET, wie in Abbildung 4. Verwendung • • • • • • • Bedienen Sie den Schalter, indem Sie die Schnur nach unten ziehen. Durch das runde Fenster an der Vorderseite werden folgende Symbole erscheinen : Product rating 0 I II 230V 1200W OFF 600W 1200W 230V 1500W OFF 750W 1500W Sie können die Neigungswinkel des Gerät bis circa 45° nach unten einstellen. Vorher muss das Gerät aber seit mindestens 10-15 Minuten ausgeschaltet sein. Das Gerät entspricht den europäischen Richtlinien 89/336 zur elektromagnetischen Kompatibilität und 72/23 – 93/68 zur elektrischen Sicherheit in Niederspannung. Tous les objets inflammables doivent être maintenus à une distance minimum de 70 centimètres. Cette distance est également la distance minimum que l'usager doit maintenir puisque, durant l'usage, la grille du produit devient très chaude. Ne jamais utiliser cet appareil dans des pièces où il peut y avoir des vapeurs ou des gaz combustibles ou explosifs, comme des peintures et des solvants. Installer l'appareil de façon à ce que l'interrupteur soit hors de porte des enfants. Si l'appareil est installé dans une salle de bain, le placer de façon à ce qu'on ne puisse pas atteindre l'interrupteur pendant qu'on prend un bain ou une douche. Au cours de son installation dans des lieux humides ou des salles de bain, respecter les distances minimum prescrites par les règles d'installation en vigueur dans votre pays. Quoiqu'il en soit, l'appareil ne doit jamais être installé dans les zones indiquées en gris 0, 1 et 2 , sur la Figure 3. Après utilisation, si vous devez nettoyer ou orienter l'appareil, laissez-le refroidir pendant 10 – 15 minutes au moins. Avant de le mettre en marche pour la première fois, vérifiez que les protections des résistances en polystyrène ont bien été retirées. Installation : nous recommandons de débrancher la tension d'alimentation avant de procéder aux démarches suivantes . • Retirez le couvercle de la zone des commandes, en retirant les vis (figure 4) • Faites 3 trous, dans le mur, d'un diamètre de 5 mm. en respectant les distances indiquées dans la Figure 5. Vous pouvez également, pour plus de facilité, utiliser l'unité de commandement ou le petit cadre en carton détachable que vous trouverez à l'intérieur de la boite (sous l'appareil). Voir Figure 6. • Insérer les chevilles dans les trous ( elles sont fournies dans la boite) • Faites passer le fil d'alimentation à travers le trou derrière la zone des commandes et branchez-le à la barrette de connexion ( figure 9) • Fixez l'appareil au mur en insérant les 3 vis comme indiqué sur la figure 10  • Vous pouvez installer ce dispositif avec l’interrupteur tirant à votre droite, tel qu’il est vendu, ou à votre gauche (figures 7 et 8). Si vous voulez l’installer avec l’interrupteur à votre gauche, procédez de la sorte : • Maintenez le dispositif à l’horizontale, sans le faire tourner ; • Otez la vis indiquée sur les figure 7a, 7b de la position 1 et revissez-la en position 2, comme le montre les figures 7c et 7d, en faisant pivoter le dispositif à 180° ; • Changez le trou de sortie de la corde de l’interrupteur, comme l’illustrent les figures 7 a et 7d. La corde doit toujours sortir par le bas. Branchement électrique • • • • Branchez l'appareil sur un réseau d'alimentation 230V 50 Hz. Le fil de branchement doit être à 3 conducteurs (phase, neutre et terre) et doit être en caoutchouc, de type H05RRF avec une section d'au moins 3 * 1 mm2. Respectez les règles d'installation en vigueur dans votre pays. L'appareil est fourni avec un interrupteur omnipolaire avec ouverture de contact de 3 mm au moins. Pendant le branchement de l'appareil, branchez la borne marron au pôle barrette de connexion indiqué par L, la borne bleue à celui indiqué comme N, la borne jaune/verte à celui indiqué ( figure 9) Après avoir effectué le branchement électrique, il est important de refermer correctement le couvercle de l'appareil. Avant de le faire: • S'ASSURER QUE L'APPAREIL N'EST PAS TOURNE VERS LE HAUT ; • S'ASSURER QUE LA VIS DE FIXAGE DU COUVERCLE EST EN HAUT, comme indiqué sur la Figure 4. Emploi • Actionnez l'interrupteur en tirant sur le cordonnet vers le bas. Dans la petite fenêtre ronde au centre, apparaîtront les symboles suivants: Product rating 0 I II 230V 1200W OFF 600W 1200W 230V 1500W OFF 750W 1500W Vous pouvez régler l'inclinaison de l'appareil vers le bas de 45° environ. Voordat u tot installatie overgaat, moeten de volgende veiligheidsmaatregelen in acht genomen worden : • Het apparaat moet geïnstalleerd worden met inachtneming van de minimumafstanden vanaf de vloer, het plafond en de zijwanden, zoals tekening 1 toont • Gebruik het apparaat nooit met aansluiting op een timer of op een automatische programmeerunit, om het risico op brand te voorkomen wanneer de kachel afgedekt wordt • Het apparaat moet uitsluitend horizontaal en op een verticale, gemetselde wand geïnstalleerd worden. Installeer het nooit verticaal, of op het plafond (afbeelding 2) • Het apparaat mag niet geïnstalleerd worden op ontvlambare wanden of oppervlakken zoals hout en plastic. Alle ontvlambare objecten moeten op een minimumafstand van 70 cm gehouden worden. Dit is ook de minimumafstand die de gebruiker moet handhaven, omdat het rooster van het product tijdens het gebruik erg heet wordt. • Gebruik het product nooit in kamers waar brandbare dampen of gassen kunnen vrijkomen zoals bij lak of oplosmiddelen. • Installeer het product zo dat de schakelaar niet door kinderen geactiveerd kan worden. Indien het product in een badkamer geïnstalleerd wordt, moet het zo geplaatst worden dat de schakelaar niet geactiveerd kan worden terwijl men een bad of douche neemt. • Tijdens de installatie in vochtige ruimtes of badkamers moeten de minimumafstanden in acht genomen worden, die voorgeschreven worden door de heersende regels voor installatie die van kracht zijn in het land van gebruik. Het product mag in ieder geval nooit geïnstalleerd worden in de zones die grijs aangeduid worden met 0, 1 en 2 in tekening 3. • Indien u na het gebruik het product wilt reinigen of omlaagrichten, laat u het dan minstens 10 – 15 minuten afkoelen. • Voordat het product voor het eerst in werking gezet wordt, moet gecontroleerd worden of de polystyrol beschermingen van de weerstanden verwijderd zijn. Installatie : er wordt aangeraden om de voedingsspanning weg te nemen voordat u tot de volgende stappen overgaat. • Neem het deksel van de bedieningszone weg, door de schroef te verwijderen (afbeelding 4) • Boor 3 gaten Ø 5 mm in de muur. Houd hierbij rekening met de afstanden die weergegeven zijn in afbeelding 5. U kunt eventueel gebruik maken van het bedieningspaneel of de kartonnen mal die zich in de verpakking (onder het product) bevindt, zie afbeelding 6. • Steek de pluggen in de gaten (pluggen zijn bijgeleverd in de doos)  • • • Voer de voedingskabel door het gat achter het deel met de bedieningselementen en sluit de kabel aan op het klemmenbord (afbeelding 9) Bevestig het product aan de muur door de 3 schroeven aan te brengen, zoals afbeelding 10 toont. Dit product kan gemonteerd worden met de trekschakelaar aan uw rechterkant, zoals het verkocht wordt, of aan uw linkerkant (afb. 7 en 8). Indien u de schakelaar aan uw linkerkant wenst, dient u als volgt te werk te gaan. • Houd het product in horizontale positie en draai het niet. • Verwijder de schroef die aangeduid wordt op afb. 7a, 7b uit positie 1 en schroef hem vast in positie 2, zoals aangegeven wordt op afb. 7c en 7d, terwijl u het product 180° draait. • Wijzig het uitgangsgat van het koordje van de schakelaar zoals aangegeven wordt op afb. 7a en 7d. Het koordje moet altijd in de laagte naar buiten komen. Elektrische aansluiting • • • • Sluit het product aan op een voedingsnet van 230V 50 Hz. De verbindingskabel moet 3 geleiders hebben (fase, neutraal en aarde) en moet van rubber zijn, type H05RRF, met een sectie van minstens 3 * 1 mm2. Neem de regels van installatie in acht die van kracht zijn in uw land. Het product wordt geleverd met een universele schakelaar met een contactopening van minstens 3 mm. Tijdens de aansluiting van het apparaat moet het bruine uiteinde aangesloten worden op de pool van het klemmenbord die met L aangeduid wordt, het blauwe uiteinde op pool N, het geel/groene uiteinde op de pool met de aanduiding (afbeelding 9) Nadat U de elektrische verbindingen heeft uitgevoerd, is het belangrijk dat u het deksel van het product correct sluit. • ZORG ERVOOR DAT HET PRODUCT NIET naar boven gekeerd is; • ZORG ERVOOR DAT DE BEVESTIGINGSSCHROEF VAN HET DEKSEL ZICH AAN DE BOVENKANT BEVINDT, zoals weergegeven in afbeelding 4. Gebruik • Activeer de schakelaar door het koordje omlaag te trekken. Door het ronde venster op de voorkant ziet u de volgende symbolen verschijnen: Product rating 0 I II 230V 1200W OFF 600W 1200W 230V 1500W OFF 750W 1500W U kunt het product ongeveer 45° omlaagrichten. Voo rdat u dit doet, moet het apparaat minstens 10-15 minuten uitgeschakeld zijn. Het product voldoet aan de Europese richtlijnen 89/336 inzake de elektromagnetische compatibiliteit en aan 72/23 – 93/68 inzake de elektrische veiligheid met laagspanning.
