To help avoid risk of electrical shock, fire, damage or
injury, please follow the warnings and cautions below:
■ Mains plug and lead
Warning
If you detect anything unusual,
immediately remove the mains
plug.

This TV is designed to operate on AC 220-240 V, 50 /
60 Hz.

Insert the mains plug fully into the socket outlet.
●
Ensure that the mains plug is easily accessible.
●
Disconnect the mains plug when cleaning the TV.

Do not touch the mains plug with wet

Do not damage the mains lead.

Do not place a heavy object
on the lead.

Do not place the lead near a
high temperature object.

Do not pull on the lead. Hold

■ Pedestal
Warning
●
Do not disassemble or modify the pedestal.
Caution
●
Do not use any pedestal other than the one provided
with this TV.
●
Do not use the pedestal if it becomes warped or
physically damaged. If this occurs, contact your nearest
Panasonic dealer immediately.
●
During setup, make sure that all screws are securely
tightened.
●
Ensure that the TV does not suffer any impact during
installation of the pedestal.
●
Ensure that children do not climb onto the pedestal.
●
Install or remove the TV from the pedestal with at least
two people.
●
Install or remove the TV by the specified procedure.
■ Radio wave
Warning
●
Do not use the TV and VIERA Touch Pad Controller
in any medical institutions or locations with medical
equipment. Radio waves may interfere with the medical
equipment and cause accidents due to the malfunction.
●
Do not use the TV and VIERA Touch Pad Controller
near any automatic control equipment such as
automatic doors or fire alarms. Radio waves may
interfere with the automatic control equipment and
cause accidents due to the malfunction.
●
Keep the distance at least 22 cm from the TV and
VIERA Touch Pad Controller when you have a cardiac
pacemaker. Radio waves may interfere with the
operation of the pacemaker.
●
Do not disassemble or alter the TV and VIERA Touch
Pad Controller in any way.
■ Built-in wireless LAN
Caution
●
Do not use the built-in wireless LAN to connect to any
wireless network (SSID

) for which you do not have
usage rights. Such networks may be listed as a result
of searches. However, using them may be regarded as
illegal access.

SSID is a name for identifying a particular wireless
network for transmission.
●
Do not subject the built-in wireless LAN to high
temperatures, direct sunlight or moisture.
●
Data transmitted and received over radio waves may be
intercepted and monitored.
●
The built-in wireless LAN uses 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz
frequency bands. To avoid malfunctions or slow
response caused by radio wave interference, keep the
TV away from the devices such as other wireless LAN
devices, microwaves, mobile phones and the devices
that use 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signals when using the
built-in wireless LAN.
●
When noises occur due to the static electricity, etc.,
the TV might stop operating for the protection of the
devices. In this case, turn the TV off with Mains power
On / Off switch, then turn it on again.

■ Bluetooth

wireless technology
Caution
●
The TV and VIERA Touch Pad Controller use the
2.4 GHz radio frequency ISM band (Bluetooth
®
). To
avoid malfunctions or slow response caused by radio
wave interference, keep the TV and VIERA Touch Pad
Controller away from the devices such as other wireless
LAN devices, other Bluetooth devices, microwaves,
mobile phones and the devices that use 2.4 GHz signal.
■ Ventilation
Caution
Allow sufficient space around the TV in order to help
prevent excessive heat, which could lead to early failure
of some electronic components.

■ Moving the TV
Caution
Before moving the TV, disconnect all cables.

Move the TV with at least two
people. Support as shown to
avoid injury by the TV tipping
or falling.
■ When not in use for a long time
Caution
This TV will still consume some power even in the Off
mode, as long as the mains plug is still connected to a
live socket outlet.
●
Remove the mains plug from the wall socket when the
TV is not in use for a prolonged period of time.
■ Excessive volume
Caution
●
Do not expose your ears to
excessive volume from the
headphones. Irreversible
damage can be caused.
●
If you hear a drumming noise in your ears, turn down
the volume or temporarily stop using the headphones.

■ Battery for the Remote Control
Caution
●
Incorrect installation may cause battery leakage,
corrosion and explosion.
●
Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
●
Do not mix old and new batteries.
●
Do not mix different battery types (such as alkaline and
manganese batteries).
●
Do not use rechargeable batteries (Ni-Cd, etc.).
●
Do not burn or break up batteries.
●
Do not expose batteries to excessive heat such as
sunshine, fire or the like.
●
Make sure you dispose of batteries correctly.
■ 3D Eyewear Use
Caution
●
Use the 3D Eyewear only for the intended purpose and
nothing else.
●
Do not move around while wearing the 3D Eyewear to
avoid falling or accidental injury.
●
Do not drop, bend, exert pressure on, or step on the 3D
Eyewear.
●
Be careful of the tips of the frame when putting on the
3D Eyewear.
●
Be careful not to trap your fingers in the hinge section
of the 3D Eyewear.
●
Do not use the 3D Eyewear if it is physically damaged.
●
If you suffer from any eyesight problems (short / far-
sighted, astigmatism, eyesight differences in left and
right), ensure that you correct your vision before using
the 3D Eyewear. The supplied 3D Eyewear can be worn
over vision correction glasses.
●
Stop using the 3D Eyewear immediately if you
experience any redness, pain or skin irritation around
the nose or temples. In rare cases, the materials used
in the 3D Eyewear may cause an allergic reaction.
■ Viewing 3D Images
Caution
●
Pay special attention when children are viewing 3D
images. 3D images should not be viewed by children
younger than about 6 years old, as a guideline.
All children must be fully supervised by parents or
guardians who must ensure their safety and health
while they are viewing 3D images.
●
Stop viewing 3D images immediately if you feel tired,
feel unwell, experience any other uncomfortable
sensation or clearly see double images. Take an
appropriate break before continuing to view. When you
set the 3D effect by using [3D Adjustment], take into
account that the vision of 3D images varies among
different individuals.
●
Do not view 3D images if you have a history of
oversensitivity to light, heart problems or any other
medical conditions.
●
When viewing 3D images, your sense of distance may
be tricked or go wrong. Be careful not to hit the TV
screen or other people unintentionally. Ensure there
are no breakable objects around you to avoid any
accidental damage or injury.
●
Do not view 3D images from a distance shorter than
recommended. The recommended viewing distance is
at least 3 times of the image height.

When black bands at the top and bottom of the screen
are displayed, such as movies, view the screen from
a distance at least 3 times the height of the actual
image. (That makes the distance shorter than the

Removing the pedestal from the TV
Be sure to remove the pedestal in the following way when using the wall-hanging bracket or repacking the TV.
1 Remove the assembly screws
from the cover.
2 Pull out the cover.
3 Lift the TV from the pedestal.
4 Remove the assembly screws from the bracket.

Ensure that the unit is disconnected from the mains socket before attaching or disconnecting any leads.
●
Check the type of terminals and cable plugs are correct when connecting.
●
Always use a fully wired SCART or HDMI cable.
●
Keep the TV away from electronic equipment (video equipment, etc.) or equipment with an infrared sensor.
Otherwise, distortion of image / sound may occur or operation of other equipment may be interfered.

VIERA Touch Pad Controller
This touch pad controller is designed for the convenient operations, especially, on Home Screen or internet contents.
You can operate the TV intuitively with this controller.
●
The touch pad controller can be used by registering to this TV with Bluetooth wireless technology. Setup screen to
register will appear in “First time Auto Setup” for first using the TV. (p. 16)
●
After registering, you can operate the TV without pointing this controller at the TV (except Standby On / Off switch).
●
To use Standby On / Off switch, point the controller directly at the TV's remote control signal receiver because it
works with the infrared. (You can operate the switch without registration.)
●
It is recommended to speak within about 15 cm from microphone of VIERA Touch Pad Controller when using Voice
Control function.

Operation guide will help your operation by using the

Select the type of [Home Screen]
The demonstration to explain how to use [my Home Screen] is displayed. Confirm the demonstration by
following the on-screen instructions, and then select the desired [Home Screen].

You can enjoy viewing 3D images with contents or programmes corresponding to the 3D effect by wearing the 3D
Eyewear (supplied).

The batteries may be running low. Replace them with new ones.

Check the TV is turned on.

Turn the TV off with Mains power On / Off switch, then turn it on again.

Parts of the TV become hot
●
Even if the temperature of parts of the front, top and rear panels has risen, these temperature rises do not cause
any problems in terms of performance or quality.
The LCD panel moves slightly and clattered sound is heard when it is pushed with a finger
●
There is some flexibility around the panel to prevent damage to the panel. This is not a malfunction.
Maintenance
First, remove the mains plug from the socket outlet.
Display panel, Cabinet, Pedestal
Regular care:
Gently wipe the surface of the display panel, cabinet, or pedestal by using a soft cloth to clean the dirt or fingerprints.
For stubborn dirt:
First clean the dust on the surface. Dampen a soft cloth with clean water or diluted neutral detergent (1 part detergent
to 100 parts water). Wring the cloth and wipe the surface. Finally, wipe away all the moisture.
Caution
●
Do not use a hard cloth or rub the surface too hard, otherwise this may cause scratches on the surface.
●
Take care not to subject the TV’s surfaces to water or detergent. Liquid inside the TV could lead to product failure.
●
Take care not to subject the surfaces to insect repellent, solvent, thinner or other volatile substances. This may
degrade surface quality or cause peeling of the paint.
●
The surface of the display panel is specially treated and may be easily damaged. Take care not to tap or scratch the
surface with your fingernail or other hard objects.
●
Do not allow the cabinet and pedestal to make contact with a rubber or PVC substance for a long time. This may
degrade surface quality.
Mains plug
Wipe the mains plug with a dry cloth at regular intervals. Moisture and dust may cause fire or electrical shock.

en rechts), moet u uw gezichtsvermogen corrigeren
voordat u de 3D-bril gebruikt. De meegeleverde
3D-bril kan over een bril voor gezichtscorrectie worden
gedragen.

Stop het gebruik van de 3D-bril onmiddellijk als u
roodheid, pijn of irritatie van de huid rond de neus of
slapen gewaarwordt. In zeldzame gevallen kunnen
de materialen die in de 3D-bril worden gebruikt, een
allergische reactie veroorzaken.
■ 3D-beeld weergeven
Let op
●
Let bijzonder op wanneer kinderen naar 3D-beeld
kijken. Kinderen jonger dan ongeveer 6 jaar mogen
niet naar 3D-beeld kijken. Wanneer kinderen naar
3D-beeld kijken, moeten ze voortdurend onder toezicht
blijven van een ouder of voogd die moet letten op hun
veiligheid en gezondheid.
●
Stop onmiddellijk met kijken naar 3D-beeld als u
moe wordt, als u zich onwel voelt, als u een ander
onaangenaam gevoel ervaart of duidelijk dubbel beeld
ziet. Neem voldoende rust voordat u verder kijkt. Houd
er, wanneer u het 3D-effect instelt met [3D-aanpassing],
rekening mee dat verschillende mensen 3D-beeld
verschillend waarnemen.

Kijk niet naar 3D-beeld als u overgevoelig bent voor
licht, hartproblemen hebt of als er een andere medische
toestand bestaat.
●
Wanneer u naar 3D-beeld kijkt, kunt u afstanden
verkeerd inschatten of niet meer onderkennen. Let
op dat u niet per ongeluk op het tv-scherm of andere
mensen slaat. Zorg dat er geen breekbare voorwerpen
rond de gebruiker aanwezig zijn om mogelijke schade
of letsel te voorkomen.

Kijk niet naar 3D-beeld van een kortere afstand dan
aanbevolen. De aanbevolen kijkafstand is minstens

Deze touchpad-controller is ontworpen om de bediening van de tv te vergemakkelijken, met name tijdens het gebruik

De stand-bytoets werkt met een infraroodsignaal en daarom moet u de controller recht naar de signaalontvanger op
de tv richten. (Deze functie hoeft niet op voorhand geregistreerd te worden.)

Zelfs een temperatuurstijging van delen van de voor-, boven- en achterpanelen veroorzaakt geen problemen op
het vlak van prestaties of kwaliteit.
Het lcd-scherm beweegt een beetje en kraakt als ik er met mijn vinger tegen duw
●
Het scherm is een beetje flexibel om schade eraan te voorkomen. Dit is normaal.
Onderhoud
Verwijder eerst de stekker van het netsnoer uit het stopcontact.
Beeldscherm, Behuizing, Standaard
Regelmatig onderhoud:
Veeg de buitenkant van het beeldscherm, de behuizing of de standaard voorzichtig af met een zachte doek om vuil of
vingerafdrukken te verwijderen.
Voor hardnekkig vuil:
Verwijder eerst het stof aan de buitenkant. Bevochtig een zachte doek met schoon water of een opgelost neutraal
schoonmaakproduct (1 deel schoonmaakproduct op 100 delen water). Wring de doek uit en veeg het oppervlak
schoon. Droog vervolgens al het vocht af.
Let op
●
Gebruik geen harde of ruwe doek en wrijf niet hard op het oppervlak omdat u daardoor krassen kunt maken.
●
Gebruik geen water of schoonmaakproducten op de tv. Wanneer een vloeistof in de tv terechtkomt, kan dit defecten
veroorzaken.
●
Zorg dat er geen insecticiden, oplosmiddelen, verdunners of andere vluchtige stoffen met de tv in aanraking komen.
Hierdoor kan de kwaliteit van het oppervlak afnemen of kan de verf afbladderen.
●
Het scherm is behandeld en voorzien van een gevoelige oppervlaktelaag. Tik en kras niet op het oppervlak met uw
vingernagel of een hard voorwerp.
●
Zorg dat de behuizing en de standaard niet gedurende langere tijd in contact zijn met rubber of pvc. Hierdoor kan
de kwaliteit van het oppervlak afnemen.
Netsnoerstekker
Maak de netsnoerstekker regelmatig schoon met een droge doek. Vocht en stof kunnen brand of een elektrische schok
veroorzaken.

■ Piedestal

de interferenţele cu unde radio, păstraţi televizorul la
distanţă de dispozitive precum alte dispozitive LAN
wireless, cuptoare cu microunde, telefoane mobile şi
dispozitive care utilizează semnale la 2,4 GHz şi 5 GHz,
atunci când utilizaţi componenta LAN wireless integrată.

Când apar zgomote din cauza electricităţii statice etc.,
acest televizor se poate opri automat pentru protecţie.

■ Utilizarea ochelarilor 3D
Atenţie
●
Utilizaţi ochelarii 3D doar în scopul destinat, evitând
orice alte utilizări.

Nu vă deplasaţi în timp ce purtaţi ochelarii 3D, pentru a
evita căderea sau rănirea accidentală.
●
Nu scăpaţi, nu îndoiţi, nu exercitaţi presiune sau nu
călcaţi pe ochelarii 3D.
●
Acordaţi atenţie capetelor cadrului atunci când vă
puneţi ochelarii 3D.
●
Evitaţi prinderea degetelor în balamalele ochelarilor 3D.
●
Nu utilizaţi ochelarii 3D dacă aceştia sunt deterioraţi.
●
Dacă suferiţi de probleme de vedere (miopie/prezbitism,
astigmatism, diferenţe de vedere între partea stângă
şi partea dreaptă), asiguraţi-vă că vă corectaţi vederea
înainte de a utiliza ochelarii 3D. Ochelarii 3D furnizaţi
pot fi purtaţi peste ochelarii de vedere.

Opriţi imediat utilizarea ochelarilor 3D dacă
experimentaţi înroşirea pielii, dureri sau iritaţii ale pielii
în jurul nasului sau tâmplelor. În unele cazuri rare,
materialele utilizate în ochelarii 3D pot cauza o reacţie
alergică.
■ Vizionarea imaginilor 3D
Atenţie
●
Acordaţi o atenţie specială atunci când copiii vizionează
imagini 3D. De regulă, imaginile 3D nu trebuie
vizionate de către copiii sub 6 ani. Toţi copiii trebuie
supravegheaţi cu atenţie de către părinţi sau tutori, care
trebuie să le garanteze siguranţa şi sănătatea în timpul
vizionării imaginilor 3D.
●
Întrerupeţi imediat vizionarea imaginilor 3D dacă aveţi
o senzaţie de oboseală, dacă nu vă simţiţi bine, dacă
aveţi orice alte senzaţii de disconfort sau vedeţi cu
claritate imagini duble. Luaţi o pauză adecvată înainte
de a continua vizionarea. Atunci când setaţi efectul 3D
folosind [Reglare 3D], ţineţi cont de faptul că vizionarea
imaginilor 3D variază de la o persoană la alta.
●
Nu vizionaţi imagini 3D dacă prezentaţi un istoric de
hipersensibilitate la lumină, probleme cardiace sau
orice alte afecţiuni medicale.
●
Când vizionaţi imagini 3D, simţul distanţei poate fi indus
în eroare sau poate crea impresii eronate. Acordaţi
atenţie, pentru a nu lovi accidental ecranul TV sau alte
persoane. Asiguraţi-vă că nu există obiecte casabile în
jurul utilizatorului, pentru a evita rănirea sau daunele
accidentale.
●
Nu vizionaţi imagini 3D de la o distanţă mai redusă
decât cea recomandată. Distanţa recomandată de
vizionare este de cel puţin 3 ori înălţimea imaginii.

Controler cu suport tactil VIERA
Acest controler cu suport tactil este proiectat pentru o utilizare convenabilă, mai ales la ecranul de pornire sau la
conţinutul din Internet. Cu ajutorul acestui controler, puteţi opera televizorul în mod intuitiv.
●
Controlerul cu suport tactil poate fi utilizat prin înregistrarea acestui televizor cu tehnologia fără fir Bluetooth. Ecranul
de configurare pentru înregistrare va apărea în „Setare automată iniţială” la prima utilizare a televizorului. (p. 16)
●
După înregistrare, puteţi opera televizorul fără a îndrepta controlerul spre televizor (cu excepţia butonului de activare/
dezactivare a modului de aşteptare).
●
Pentru a utiliza butonul de pornire/oprire a modului de aşteptare, îndreptaţi controlerul direct către receptorul de
semnal al telecomenzii televizorului, deoarece acesta funcţionează cu infraroşu. (Puteţi opera butonul fără să îl

■ Redarea unui disc Blu-ray compatibil 3D (în formatul Secvenţă de cadre)

Conectaţi player-ul compatibil 3D folosind un cablu complet cablat compatibil HDMI. (Dacă utilizaţi un player
incompatibil cu modul 3D, imaginile vor fi afişate în modul 2D.)
●
Dacă modul de intrare nu se comută automat, selectaţi modul de intrare conectat la player, utilizând butonul AV.

Puneţi-vă ochelarii 3D

Vizualizaţi imaginile 3D
La prima vizionare a imaginii 3D, vor fi afişate măsurile de precauţie. Selectaţi [Da] sau [Nu] pentru a continua
vizionarea imaginilor 3D.

Pentru schimbarea modului 2D - 3D
Observaţie
●
Nu exercitaţi presiune şi nu zgâriaţi lentilele ochelarilor 3D.
●
Conţinutul 3D nu va fi vizibil corect dacă ochelarii 3D sunt purtaţi invers sau întorşi.
●
Când vizionaţi imagini 3D, asiguraţi-vă că ochii dumneavoastră sunt la un nivel aproximativ orizontal şi menţineţi o
poziţie în care să nu vedeţi imagini duble.
Întrebări frecvente
Înainte de a solicita service sau asistenţă, urmaţi aceste indicaţii simple pentru a rezolva problema.

Televizorul nu porneşte
●
Verificaţi dacă aţi conectat cablul de alimentare la televizor şi la priză.
Televizorul trece în modul aşteptare
●
Funcţia automată de aşteptare este activată.
Telecomanda nu funcţionează sau funcţionează intermitent
●
Bateriile sunt introduse corect? (p. 14)
●
Televizorul a fost pornit?
●
Se poate ca bateriile să fie consumate. Înlocuiţi-le cu unele noi.
●
Îndreptaţi telecomanda direct către receptorul de semnal al telecomenzii televizorului (până la aproximativ 7 m şi
un unghi de 30 de faţă de receptorul de semnal).
●
Amplasaţi televizorul departe de lumina soarelui sau de alte surse de lumină puternică, pentru a nu se reflecta în
receptorul de semnal al telecomenzii televizorului.

Nu se poate afişa nicio imagine
●
Verificaţi dacă televizorul este pornit.
●
Verificaţi dacă aţi conectat cablul de alimentare la televizor şi la priză.
●
Verificaţi selectarea corectă a modului de intrare.
●
Verificaţi setarea [AV2] ([COMPONENT] / [VIDEO]) din [Selectare intrare] astfel încât să corespundă ieşirii
echipamentului extern.
●
Sunt [Contrast], [Luminozitate] sau [Culoare] din meniul Imagine setate la valoarea minimă?
●
Verificaţi dacă toate cablurile necesare şi conexiunile sunt bine fixate.
Se afişează o imagine neobişnuită
●
Opriţi televizorul de la butonul de pornire / oprire a alimentării şi apoi reporniţi-l.
●
Dacă problema persistă, iniţializaţi toate setările. [Condiţii presetate] în [Meniu sistem] (Meniul Setare)
Părţi ale televizorului devin fierbinţi
●
Chiar dacă temperatura părţilor frontală, superioară şi posterioară creşte, aceste temperaturi nu creează
probleme în ceea ce priveşte funcţionarea sau calitatea.
Panoul LCD se mişcă uşor şi se aude un păcănit când este împins cu degetul
●
În jurul panoului există o relativă flexibilitate pentru a preveni deteriorarea panoului. Aceasta nu este o defecţiune.
Întreţinere
Mai întâi scoateţi ştecărul din priză.
Ecranul de afişare, carcasa, piedestalul
Îngrijirea periodică:
Ştergeţi cu atenţie suprafaţa ecranului de afişare, carcasa sau piedestalul prin utilizarea unei cârpe moi pentru a
curăţa urmele de murdărie sau amprentele.
Pentru urme persistente de murdărie:
Mai întâi, ştergeţi praful de pe suprafaţă. Umeziţi o cârpă moale cu apă curată sau cu apă care conţine o cantitate
mică de detergent neutru (1 parte detergent la 100 părţi apă). Stoarceţi cârpa şi ştergeţi suprafaţa. La final, ştergeţi
suprafaţa cu o cârpă uscată.
Atenţie
●
Nu utilizaţi o cârpă din material dur şi nu frecaţi suprafaţa prea insistent, deoarece pot apărea zgârieturi pe suprafaţă.
●
Aveţi grijă ca suprafeţele televizorului să nu ajungă în contact cu apă sau detergent. Lichidele pătrunse în interiorul
televizorului pot determina deteriorarea produsului.
●
Aveţi grijă ca suprafeţele să nu ajungă în contact cu insecticide, solvenţi, diluanţi sau alte substanţe volatile.
Acestea ar putea distruge calitatea suprafeţei prin desprinderea stratului de vopsea.
●
Suprafaţa panoului de afişare are un strat de acoperire special care se deteriorează foarte uşor. Evitaţi lovirea sau
zgârierea suprafeţei cu unghiile sau cu alte obiecte dure.
●
Nu lăsaţi carcasa şi piedestalul să ajungă în contact o perioadă mai lungă cu obiecte din cauciuc sau PVC. Acest
lucru ar putea afecta calitatea suprafeţei.
Ştecărul
Ştergeţi ştecărul cu o cârpă uscată la intervale regulate. Umezeala şi praful pot provoca incendii sau electrocutare.
