INTRODUCTIE
De Alecto
FR-10
is een PMR-446 Portofoon. Met deze
portofoon is het mogelijk om gratis onderling te
communiceren of te communiceren met andere (Alecto)
portofoons zolang deze voldoen aan de PMR-446 stan-
daard.
De Alecto
FR-10
voldoet aan de essentiële voor-
waarden en voorzieningen zoals omschreven in de
Europese richtlijn 1999/5/EC. De verklaring van confor-
miteit is beschikbaar op de website www.alecto.nl
VOEDING
In de FR-10 moeten 3 NORMALE AAA penlite
batterijen.
1. Verwijder eerst de riemclip door het borglipje naar
achteren te drukken en de riemclip naar boven uit
de portofoon te drukken.
2.
Open nu het batterijcompartiment en plaats de batte-
rijen op de aangegeven wijze. Let hierbij op de polari-
teit (+ en -).
3. Sluit het batterijcompartiment en plaats de riemclip
terug op de portofoon.

GEBRUIKEN
Let op: altijd bij alle 2 de porto’s hetzelfde kanaal
instellen
Attentie: Denk er aan dat andere mensen die
ook een portofoon hebben, ook al is dat een
ander model of van een ander merk, ook jouw signaal
kunnen ontvangen.
Jij kunt ook het signaal van andere portofoons ontvan-
gen. Als je daar last van hebt, kun je een ander kanaal
instellen.
In/uitschakelen:
Druk gedurende 2 seconden op toets
om de
FR-10 in of uit te schakelen.
Zenden:
Druk op de PTT toets
om te zenden.
(PTT = Push To Talk = indrukken om te spreken)
Hou de porto ongeveer 5 cm van je mond en praat
in de microfoon.
Ontvangen:
Laat de PTT toets los om te ontvangen.
Oproepen:
Druk op toets
om een oproeptoon uit te zenden.
Kanaal wijzigen:
Druk op toets en selecteer dan met ▲ of ▼
het
juiste kanaal.
Druk op de PTT toets om dit kanaal vast te leggen.
Volumeregeling:
Gebruik de toetsen ▲ of ▼ om het volume te regelen.
Roger beep:
Als je de PTT toets los laat dan zendt de FR-10
een toontje uit. Nu weet de andere kant dat hij kan
terugpraten
Deze toon staat altijd aan en is niet uit te zetten.
Kanalen scannen:
Houd en ▲ tegelijk ingedrukt totdat na ruim 1
seconde SC oplicht, de FR-10 scant nu alle kanalen
af.
Ontvangen signalen worden weergegeven waarna
het scannen doorgaat.
Druk op toets PTT om het scannen te stoppen.
Monitoring:
Houd ▲ en ▼ tegelijk ingedrukt totdat na ruim 1
seconde RX oplicht, de ruisonderdrukking wordt uit-
geschakeld en je hoort nu ook de zwakke zenders
op dit kanaal.
Opnieuw ▲ en ▼ 1 seconde ingedrukt houden om
deze functie uit te schakelen.
Toetsblokkering:
Houd toets ingedrukt totdat na ruim 1 seconde
oplicht. Het wijzigen van het volume en van het
kanaal is nu niet meer mogelijk. Zenden en ontvan-
gen is nog wel mogelijk.
Houd toets opnieuw ingedrukt totdat na ruim 1
seconde verdwijnt om de toetsen vrij te geven.
GEBRUIKERSTIPS
ALGEMEEN:
• De
FR-10
is een zend/ontvanger die werkt met radio-
golven in de 446MHz band. De signaaloverdracht kan
gestoord worden door externe invloeden zoals bijvoor-
beeld van andere portofoons, zenders, draadloze tele-
foons, e.d. Wordt uw portofoon gestoord of veroorzaakt
uw portofoon storing, dan biedt het omschakelen van het
kanaal vaak een oplossing.
• Het gebruik van deze portofoon is toegestaan in alle
landen van de EU. Als u de FR-10 wilt meenemen
naar landen buiten de EU, informeer dan eerst naar
de plaatselijke beperkingen van het gebruik van
PMR446 apparatuur aldaar.
• Let op dat het signaal van de FR-10 ook door ande-
re portofoons of ontvangers dan de uwe gehoord
kan worden.
• Het is niet toegestaan op wat voor wijze dan ook
wijzigingen aan de elektronica of aan de antenne
van de FR-10 aan te brengen. Service mag alleen
geschieden door daardoor vakbekwame monteurs.
• Tijdens een onweersbui de FR-10 nooit buiten
gebruiken.
ONDERHOUD:
• Reinig de FR-10 alleen met een vochtige doek.
• Plaats de portofoon nooit in direct zonlicht en niet in
een vochtige omgeving.
• Vermijd het indringen van water en/of zand in de
FR-10.
• Indien een storing optreedt, controleer dan eerst de
werking van de FR-10 op een andere locatie.
RADIOVERBINDING:
Het bereik van de FR-10 is tot 7 Km. Dit bereik is
afhankelijk van lokale omstandigheden zoals hoge
gebouwen, hoogspannings- en bovenleidingen. Een
optimaal bereik wordt gehaald indien de portofoon een
vrij zicht heeft naar de ontvanger.
MILIEU:
Wordt de portofoon afgedankt, lever deze dan in bij
uw leverancier. Zij zorgen voor een milieuvriendelijke
verwerking.
Uitgewerkte batterijen kunt u inleveren bij de leveran
cier
van deze portofoons of u kunt ze inleveren bij uw plaat-
selijk depot voor klein chemisch afval. Gooi lege batte-
rijen nooit bij uw huishoudelijk afval.
GARANTIEBEWIJS
Op de Alecto FR-10 heeft u een garantie van 24
MAANDEN na aankoopdatum. Wij garanderen gedu-
rende die periode de kosteloze herstelling van defec-
ten ontstaan door materiaal- en constructiefouten.
Een en ander ter uiteindelijke beoordeling van de
importeur.

transport van het apparaat zonder geschikte verpak-

garantiebewijs en de aankoopbon. Batterijen en de

INTRODUCTION
Le Alecto FR-10 est un Portophone PMR-446. Avec ce
portophone il est possible de communiquer gratuite-
ment mutuellement ou de communiquer avec d’autres
portophones (Alecto) pour autant qu’ils répondent au
standard PMR-446.
Le Alecto FR-10 répond aux conditions et équipements
essentiels comme décrits dans les directives Euro-
péennes 1999/5/EC. La déclaration de conformité est

ALIMENTATION
Le FR-10 fonctionne avec 3 piles classiques AAA.
1. Retirez d’abords l’attache ceinture en poussant la
languette de protection vers l’arrière et en poussant
l’attache ceinture hors du portophone.
2. Ouvrez ensuite le compartiment des piles en placez
les piles comme indiqué. Faites attention à la pola-
rité (+ et -).
3. Fermez le compartiment des piles et replacez
l’attache ceinture sur le portophone.

UTILISER
Attention: toujours sélectionner le même canal
pour les 2 portophones.
Attention: Pensez-y que d’autres personnes qui
ont aussi un portophone peuvent également ré-
ceptionner votre signal, même si c’est un autre model
ou d’une autre marque.
Vous pouvez aussi réceptionner le signal d’autres
portophones. Si vous avez ce problème vous pouvez
sélectionner un autre canal.
Activer/désactiver:
Appuyez pendant 2 secondes sur la touche pour
activer ou désactiver le FR-10.
Emettre:
Appuyez sur la touche PTT pour émettre.
(PTT = Push To Talk = enfoncer pour parler)
Gardez le portophone à environ 5 cm de votre bou-
che et parlez dans le microphone.
Réceptionner:
Lâchez la touche PTT pour réceptionner.
Appeler:
Appuyez sur la touche pour émettre une tonalité
d’appel.
Modier le canal:
Appuyez sue la touche et sélectionner le bon
canal avec ▲ ou ▼.
Appuyez sur la touche PTT pour dénir ce canal.
Réglage de volume:
Utilisez les touches ▲ ou ▼ pour régler le volume.
Beep Roger:
Quand vous lâchez la touche PTT alors le FR-10
émet une petite tonalité. Maintenant l’autre partie
sait qu’elle peut répondre. Cette tonalité est toujours
allumée et ne peut être désactivée.
Scanner les canaux:
Tenez et ▲ enfoncée simultanément pendant au
moins 1 seconde jusqu’à ce que SC s’allume, main-
tenant le FR-10 scanne tous les canaux.
Les signaux réceptionnés sont afchés après quoi le
scan continu.
Appuyez sur la touche PTT pour arrêter le scan.
Monitoring:
Tenez ▲ et ▼ enfoncés simultanément pendant
au moins 1 seconde jusqu’à ce que RX s’allume, la
réduction de bruit est désactivée, maintenant vous
entendez également les émetteurs faibles sur ce
canal.
Tenez à nouveau ▲ et ▼ enfoncé pendant 1 se-
conde an de désactiver cette fonction.
Verrouillage des touches:
Tenez la touche enfoncée pendant au moins 1
seconde jusqu’à ce que s’allume. Ensuite il
n’est plus possible de modier le volume et le canal.
Cependant il est encore possible d’émettre et de
réceptionner.
Tenez à nouveau la touche enfoncée pendant au
moins 1 seconde jusqu’à ce que disparaisse
an de débloquer les touches.
CONSEILS D’UTILISATION
GENERALE:
• Le FR-10 est un émetteur/récepteur qui foncti-
onne sur les ondes radio de la bande 446 MHz. La
transmission de signal peut être perturbée par des
conditions externes comme par exemple d’autres
portophones, émetteurs, téléphones sans l, e.a. Le
changement de canal apporte souvent une solution
au cas où votre portophone est perturbé ou si votre
portophone cause des perturbations.
• L’utilisation de ce portophone est acceptée dans
tous les pays de l’UE. Si vous voulez emporter le
FR-10 dans des pays hors de l’UE, veuillez alors
d’abords vous informer concernant les restrictions
locales de l’utilisation des appareils PMR446 là-bas.
• Faites attention que le signal du FR-10 peut éga-
lement être entendu par d’autres portophones ou
récepteurs que le vôtre.
• Il n’est pas permis de quelles manières que ce soit
d’apporter des modications à l’électronique ou à
l’antenne du FR-10. Le service doit être effectué par
des mécaniciens qualiés pour ceci.
• Ne jamais utiliser le FR-10 à l’extérieure lors d’un
orage.
ENTRETIEN:
• Nettoyez le FR-10 uniquement avec une lingette
humide.
• Ne jamais placer le portophone dans la lumière
directe du soleil ni dans un endroit humide.
• Evitez l’inltration d’eau et/ou de sable dans le FR-
10.
• Au cas où une perturbation survient, contrôlez
d’abords le fonctionnement du FR-10 à un autre
endroit.
LIAISON RADIO:
La portée du FR-10 va jusqu’à 7 Km. Cette portée
dépend des conditions locales comme des hauts
bâtiments, des lignes à haute tension et des lignes
aériennes. Une portée optimal est atteinte lorsque le
portophone a une vue dégagée sur le récepteur.
ENVIRONNEMENT:
Si le portophone doit être remplacé, apportez-le
alors chez votre fournisseur. Ils se chargent d’un
écoulement écologique.
Vous pouvez apporter les piles usagées chez
le fournisseur de ces portophones ou vous pouvez les
apporter à votre dépôt local pour les petits déchets
chimiques. Ne jetez jamais les piles vides avec vos
déchets ménagés.
BON DE GARANTIE
Vous avez une garantie de 24 MOIS sur le Alecto FR-10
après la date d’achat. Pendant cette période nous vous
garantissons une réparation sans frais des défauts
causés par des fautes de matériels ou de construction.

EINFÜHRUNG
Das Alecto FR-10 ist ein PMR-446 Radiophone. Mit
diesem Radiophone können Sie kostenlos miteinander
und auch mit anderen (Alecto) Radiophones kommunizie-
ren, so lange sie mit der PMR-446 Norm übereinstimmen.
Alecto FR-10 stimmt mit den wesentlichen Anforderun-
gen und Bestimmungen in der Europäischen Richtlinie

STROMQUELLE
Das FR-10 funktioniert mit 3 NORMALEN AAA-Batte-
rien.
1. Zunächst entfernen Sie den Gürtelclip, indem Sie
die Sicherungslasche nach hinten und den Gürtelclip
nach oben und aus dem Radiophon drücken.
2. Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach und installieren Sie die
Batterien wie angegeben. Achten Sie auf die richti-
gen Polaritäten (+ und -).
3. Schließen Sie das Batteriefach und bringen Sie den
Gürtelclip wieder am Radiophon an.

VERWENDUNG
Achtung: stellen Sie beide Radiophone immer
auf den selben Kanal ein
Achtung: Denken Sie daran, dass andere
Personen mit einem Radiophone ebenfalls Ihr
Signal empfangen können, auch wenn es sich um ein
anderes Modell oder Marke handelt.
Sie können auch Signale von anderen Radiophones
empfangen. In diesem Fall können Sie versuchen,
einen anderen Kanal auszuwählen.
Ein-/Ausschalten:
Halten Sie die Taste für 2 Sekunden gedrückt, um
das FR-10 ein- oder auszuschalten.
Senden:
Drücken Sie zum Senden die PTT-Taste.
(PTT = Push To Talk =Zum Sprechen drücken)
Halten Sie das Radiophone ca. 5 cm von Ihrem
Mund entfernt und sprechen Sie in das Mikrofon.
Empfangen:
Lösen Sie zum Empfangen die PTT-Taste.
Senden:
Drücken Sie die Taste , um einen Rufton zu
senden.
Kanäle wechseln:
Drücken Sie die Taste und wählen Sie mit ▲ oder
▼ den richtigen Kanal aus.
Drücken Sie die Taste PTT, um den ausgewählten
Kanal zu bestätigen.
Lautstärkeregler:
Ändern Sie die Lautstärke mit der Taste ▲ oder ▼.
Roger-Piepton:
Wenn Sie die Taste PTT lösen, sendet FR-10 einen
Ton, um den anderen Teilnehmer zu informieren,
dass er bzw. sie kommunizieren kann.
Dieser Ton ist immer an und kann nicht ausgeschal-
tet werden.
Kanalsuchlauf:
Halten Sie und ▲ gleichzeitg gedrückt, nach
2 Sekunden wird auf dem Display SC angezeigt
und FR-10 sucht alle Kanäle. Empfangene Signale
werden angezeigt und der Suchlauf wird fortgesetzt.
Drücken Sie die Taste PTT, um den Suchlauf zu
stoppen.
Monitoring:
Halten Sie ▼ und ▲ gleichzeitig gedrückt, nach
1 Sekunde wird auf dem Display RX angezeigt,
Rauschunterdrückung wird ausgeschaltet und Sie
können auf dem aktuellen Kanal auch schwächere
Sendesignale hören. Halten Sie ▲ und ▼ gleich-
zeitg für 1 Sekunde gedrückt, um diese Funktion
abzubrechen.
Tastensperre:
Halten Sie die Taste gedrückt, nach 1 Sekunde
wird auf dem Display angezeigt. Das Wechseln
der Kanäle oder des Lautstärkepegels wird nicht
länger funktionieren, aber Sie können immer noch
empfangen und senden. Halten Sie die Taste
erneut für 1 Sekunde gedrückt, um die Tastensper-
rfunktion abzubrechen.
ANWENDERTIPPS
ALLGEMEIN:
• Das FR-10 ist ein Sender/Empfänger, der mit Radio-
wellen auf dem 446 MHz Band funktioniert. Die Sig-
nalübertragung kann von äußeren Einüssen, wie
z.B. anderen Radiophones, Sendern, schnurlosen
Telefonen, etc. beeinträchtigt werden. Wenn Ihr Ra-
diophone gestört wird oder Interferenzen verursacht,
wird dieses Problem normalerweise durch Wechseln
des Kanals gelöst.
• Die Verwendung dieses Radiophones ist in allen EU-
Ländern zulässig. Wenn Sie das FR-10 in Länder
außerhalb der EU mitnehmen möchten, sollten Sie
die lokalen Beschränkungen für die Verwendung von
PMR446-Geräten beachten.
• Denken Sie daran, dass das Signal von FR-10 auch
von anderen Radiophones oder Empfängern gehört
werden kann.
• Änderungen an der Elektronik oder der Antenne des
FR-10 sind in keinster Weise zulässig. Service darf
nur von qualizierem Servicepersonal durchgeführt
werden.
• Verwenden Sie das FR-10 niemals bei Gewittern im
Freien.
WARTUNG:
• Reinigen Sie das FR-10 nur mit einem feuchten
Tuch.
• Setzen Sie das Radiophone niemals direkter Son-
neneinstrahlung oder feuchten Umgebungen aus.
• Lassen Sie kein Wasser und/oder Sand in das FR-
10 eindringen.
• Falls Probleme auftreten, überprüfen Sie zunächst,
ob FR-10 an einem anderen Standort richtig funkti-
oniert.
RADIOANSCHLUSS:
• Das FR-10 hat eine effektive Reichweite bis zu 7
km. Diese Reichweite kann von lokalen Bedingun-
gen, wie z.B. hohe Gebäude, Hochspannungsleitun-
gen und Freileitungen beeinträchtigt werden. Eine
optimale Reichweite wird erzielt, wenn das Radiop-
hone klare Sicht zum Empfänger hat.
UMWELT:
• Wenn Sie Ihr Radiophone entsorgen müssen, brin-
gen Sie es zurück zu Ihrem Händler. Er kann eine
umweltfreundliche Entsorgung gewährleisten.
• Sie können leere Batterien dieses Radiophones bei
Ihrem Händler oder Ihrer lokalen Sammelstelle für
chemische Kleinabfälle abgeben.
• Leere oder verbrauchte Batterien niemals im
Hausmüll entsorgen.
GARANTIEKARTE
Für diesen ALECTO FR-10 besteht eine Garantie von
24 Monaten ab Kaufdatum. Während dieses Zeitraums
garantieren wir, dass alle Defekte, die durch Material-
oder Konstruktionsfehler verursacht werden, kosten-
los repariert werden. Der Importeur betimmt diese
Bedingungen.

von Feuchtigkeit, Feuer, Überutung, Blitzschlag oder
sonstige Naturkatastrophen sind von der Garantie nicht
abgedeckt. Änderungen oder Modizierungen des

INTRODUCTION
The Alecto FR-10 is a PMR-446 Radiophone. This
radiophone allows for free-of-charge communication
back and forth, as well as communication with other
(Alecto) radiophones as long as these meet the PMR-
446 standard.
The Alecto FR-10 is in accordance with the essential
requirements and provisions as described in the Euro-
pean Directive 1999/5/EC. The declaration of confor-
mity is available on the website www.alecto.nl
POWER SOURCE
The FR-10 works on 3 REGULAR AAA penlite bat-
teries.
1. First, remove the belt clip by pressing the lock tab
back and pushing the belt clip upwards and out of
the radiophone.
2. Open the battery compartment and install the
batteries as indicated. Pay attention to the correct
polarities (+ and -).
3. Close the battery compartment and put the belt clip
back on the radiophone.

: turns on when the SCAN function is activated
TX: turns on while sending

USE
Attention: always set both radiophones to the
same channel
Attention: Don’t forget that other people with a
radiophone can receive your signal also, even
when it’s of a different model or brand.
You can also receive signals from other radiophones.
In this case, you can try and select a different channel.
Power on/off:
Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to switch
the FR-10 on or off.
Transmitting:
Press the PTT button to sending.
(PTT = Push To Talk )
Hold the radiophone approximately 5cm from your
mouth and speak into the microphone.
Receiving:
Release the PTT button to receive.
Call tone:
Press the button to transmit a call tone.
Switching channels:
Press the button and then use ▲ or ▼ to select
the correct channel.
Press the PTT button to conrm the selected chan-
nel.
Volume control:
Use the button▲ or ▼ to change the volume.
Roger beep:
When you release the PTT button, the FR-10 will
send a tone to inform the other party he or she can
talk back.
This tone is always on and cannot be switched off.
Channel scan:
Simultaneously press and hold and ▲, after 1
second the display will show SC and the FR-10 will
then scan all channels.
Received signals will be shown and the scan will
then continue.
Press the PTT button to stop the scan.
Monitoring:
Simultaneously press and hold ▼ and ▲, after 1
second the display will show RX, the noise reduction
will be switched off and you can also hear the wea-
ker transmissions on the current channel.
Simultaneously hold ▲ and ▼ again for 1 second to
cancel this function.
Key lock:
Press and hold the button, after 1 second the
display will show . Changing channels or the
volume level will now no longer function, but you can
still receive and transmit.
Press and hold the button again for 1 second to
cancel the key lock function.
USER TIPS
GENERAL:
• The FR-10 is a transmitter/receiver working with
radio waves on the 446 MHz band. Its signal trans-
mission can be affected by external inuences such
as other radiophones, transmitters, wireless phones,
etc. When your radiophone is being interfered with
or causes interference, simply changing the channel
usually solves this problem.
• The use of this radiophone is permitted in all the
countries of the EU. If you want to bring the FR-10
to countries outside the EU, you should consult the
local restrictions on the use of PMR446 equipment.
• Don’t forget that the signal of the FR-10 can also be
heard by radiophones or receivers other than yours.
• It is in no way allowed to make any changes to the
electronics or the antenna of the FR-10. Service
must be performed by qualied service personnel
only.
• Never use the FR-10 outdoors during thunder-
storms.
MAINTENANCE:
• Only clean the FR-10 with a moist cloth.
• Never place the radiophone in direct sunlight or
humid environments.
• Prevent water and/or sand from penetrating the
FR-10.
• In case of any problems, always check rst whether
the FR-10 does work correctly on a different location.
RADIO CONNECTION:
• The FR-10 has an effective range from up to 7km.
This range can be affected by local conditions such
as high buildings, high voltage posts and overhead
wires. An optimal range is achieved when the radiop-
hone has a clear sight of the receiver.
ENVIRONMENT:
• When discarding your radiophone, please return it
to your dealer. They can guarantee environment-
friendly disposal.
• You can return exhausted batteries to the dealer
of these radiophones or to your local collection
point for small chemical waste.
• Never dispose of empty or exhausted batteries as
normal domestic waste.
WARRANTY CARD
This ALECTO FR-10 is covered by a warranty of 24
months commencing on the day of your purchase.
During this period we guarantee that any defects
caused by errors in materials or construction will be
repaired free of charge. The importer decides upon
these conditions.

WARRANTY COVERAGE TERMINATES :
In the event of misuse, improper connection, battery
leakage or incorrect placement of batteries. It does not
cover the use of parts or accessories not delivered with
this device, neglect or any failure caused by humi-
dity, re, ood, lightning or any natural disaster. The
warranty does not cover alteration or modications of
the product by unauthorized qualied service perso-
nal. The warranty terminates in the event of incorrect
transportation of the equipment without appropriate
packaging or if the equipment is not accompanied by
this warranty card and the receipt of purchase.
Cables, jacks and batteries are not covered by the
warranty.
Alecto will not be held responsible for indirect, conse-
quential or special damages.
