›Voor uw veiligheid
In de gebruiksaanwijzing treft u de
veiligheidsinstructies en belangrijke
informatie aan voor een goede werking
van het apparaat. Lees en bewaar de
gebruiksaanwijzing en geef deze, indien
van toepassing, mee aan de volgende
eigenaar. Alle veiligheidsadviezen zijn
ook in uw eigen belang.
• Dit apparaat voldoet aan de
erkende regels voor technologie
en de van toepassing zijnde
veiligheidsvoorschriften voor
elektrische apparaten!
• Om schade of gevaar door onjuist
gebruik te vermijden, dienen de
gebruiksinstructies zorgvuldig bewaard
en opgevolgd te worden!
• Bij het doorgeven van het apparaat
aan andere personen dient ook
de gebruiksaanwijzing daarbij
overhandigd te worden!
• Indien het snoer beschadigd is,
dient dit te worden vervangen door
een door de fabrikant aanbevolen
onderhoudsmonteur om gevaar te
voorkomen. Neem contact op met de
fabrikant of diens klantenservice.
• De spanning van de stroombron (V)
moet overeenkomen met de op het
typeplaatje aangegeven waarde!
• Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op
wisselspanning en op een geaard
stopcontact. Trek het snoer niet over

scherpe randen, klem het vast op zijn
plaats of laat het los hangen! Houd het
snoer uit de buurt van hete en vochtige
ruimtes!
• Controleer voor gebruik of het
apparaat juist functioneert!
• Het apparaat mag niet worden gebruikt
als:
- het snoer beschadigd is
- het apparaat zichtbare beschadiging
vertoont
- het apparaat gevallen is
• Wikkel het snoer nooit om het apparaat
heen!
• Steek de stekker alleen in het
stopcontact wanneer het apparaat is
uitgeschakeld!
• Reparaties mogen uitsluitend door een
deskundige worden uitgevoerd. Als
gevolg van ondeskundige reparaties
kunnen er ernstige gevaren ontstaan!
• Als elektrische apparaten niet juist
worden gebruikt, bestaat er altijd
letselgevaar!
• Berg het apparaat op een veilige plaats
op, om te voorkomen dat het per
vergissing verkeerd wordt gebruikt.
Veiligheidsinstructies voor het
gebruiken van het apparaat
• Gebruik het apparaat altijd voor het
daarvoor bestemde doel!
• Dit apparaat kan gebruikt worden door
kinderen vanaf de leeftijd van 8 jaar
of door personen met verminderde
lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke
capaciteiten of met het gebrek aan
ervaring en / of kennis, mits deze

personen worden begeleid worden of
zijn geweest het toestel te gebruiken
op een veilige manier en de gevaren
die voortvloeien uit het gebruik ervan
hebben begrepen. Kinderen moeten
niet spelen met het toestel. Reiniging
en gebruikers onderhoud moeten
niet worden uitgevoerd door kinderen
tenzij ze worden begeleid.
• Houd verpakkingsmateriaal, bijv. plastic
zakken, buiten bereik van kinderen!
Waarschuwing! Gevaar voor
elektrische schok
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit met natte
handen, in bad of douche of boven een
gevulde wasbak. Als het apparaat in
het water valt, haal dan onmiddellijk
de stekker uit het stopcontact. Reik
in geen geval in het water terwijl het
apparaat nog is aangesloten op de
voedingsbron!
• WAARSCHUWING! Gebruik dit
apparaat nooit in de buurt van
een bad, douche, wastafel
of andere bassins die water
bevatten.
Waarschuwing! Gevaar voor
elektrische schok
• Haal de stekker na gebruik uit het
stopcontact wanneer het apparaat
in een badkamer wordt gebruikt. De
nabijheid van water betekent namelijk
een gevaar, zelfs als het apparaat is
uitgeschakeld!
• Leg het apparaat tijdens gebruik nooit
op zachte kussens of lakens!

• Plaats het apparaat of het snoer niet op
hete oppervlakken zoals kookplaat of
dergelijke of in de nabijheid van open
vlammen!
• Om beschadigingen van het haar te
voorkomen, moet u nooit de opening
waar de lucht uitstroomt, te dicht bij
het haar houden!
• Tijdens het gebruik de luchtaanzuiging
en uitstroomopening niet afdekken!
• Apparaat gedurende langere
onderbreking van het drogen
uitschakelen!
• Het apparaat is uitgerust met een
oververhittingsbeveiliging, die bij
overbelasting (b.v. als luchtuitstroom-
of aanzuigopening wordt afgedekt)
uitschakelt. Als het apparaat
gedurende het gebruik mocht
uitschakelen, de trappenschakelaar op
„0“ zetten en ca. 5 minuten wachten,
dan opnieuw inschakelen!
• De installatie van een defecte current
protective device met een nominale
uitschakelstroom biedt u extra
veiligheid door ervoor te zorgen dat de
30 mA niet wordt overschreden in de
huisinstallatie.Laat uw elektricien uw
adviseren over uw installatie!
• Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact:
- als het apparaat niet juist functioneert
- voor reiniging
- na elk gebruik
• Trek niet aan het snoer en draag het
apparaat niet met behulp van het
snoer!

schoonmaken en onderhoud
• Haal altijd de stekker uit het
stopcontact en laat het apparaat
aoelen alvorens het te reinigen of te
repareren of wanneer er tijdens het
gebruik een storing optreedt!
• Gebruik het snoer niet om de stekker
uit het stopcontact te trekken en haal
de stekker niet met natte handen uit
het stopcontact!
Waarschuwing! Gevaar voor
elektrische schok
• Bescherm het apparaat tegen
vocht. Doe het apparaat nooit in de
vaatwasmachine. Dompel het apparaat
nooit onder in water!

› Gebruiksaanwijzing
Hoofdschakelaar
0 = het apparaat is uitgeschakeld
1 = gemiddelde temperatuur
2 = hoge temperatuur
= Cool shot functie (koele lucht) voor fixatie van het haar
Gebruik
• Gebruik dit product altijd in combinatie met krulspelden!
• Maak na het wassen uw haar handdoekdroog.
• Er kan eventueel een versteviging (bijvoorbeeld
haarmousse) in het haar worden aangebracht.
• Krulspelden kunnen het beste worden ingezet als het
haar nog handoekdroog is.
• De droogkap kan gemakkelijk bevestigd worden door
de droogkap aan te sluiten op de luchtopening van het
apparaat. Zorg ervoor dat de droogkap goed bevestigd is
aan het apparaat.
• Gebruik de verstelbare draagriem voor extra
gebruiksgemak.
• Plaats de droogkap over het te stylen haar. De droogkap
moet glad en niet verkreukeld worden opgezet.
• Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.
• Gebruik de schakelaar om de gewenste temperatuur te
regelen.
• U kunt vrij bewegen met de droogkap binnen de lengte
van het netsnoer.
› Reiniging en onderhoud
Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat uit het stopcontact
gehaald is voordat u het schoonmaakt. Nooit in water
onderdompelen. Bescherm het apparaat tegen stof.
Maak het ventilatierooster nu en dan schoon met een fijn
penseeltje om stof en haren te verwijderen. U kunt het
apparaat schoonmaken met een vochtige doek en daarna
met een droge doek afdrogen.
› Milieu en afval
Het verpakkingsmateriaal, het apparaat en de accessoires
zijn vervaardigd van materiaal dat kan worden gerecycled.

Een juiste afvalscheiding en verwerking van de resterende
materialen helpen bij het recyclingproces.
Bovenstaande markering geeft aan dat dit product in de
EU niet mag worden weggegooid met ander huishoudelijk
afval.
Recycle het apparaat op een verantwoordelijke manier,
om het duurzame hergebruik van materiële bronnen te
bevorderen en mogelijke schade aan het milieu of de
volksgezondheid door ongecontroleerd weggooien te
voorkomen.
Maak gebruik van de inlever- en inzamelingssystemen
om uw apparaat in te leveren, of neem contact op met de
winkel waar u het apparaat hebt aangeschaft. Zij kunnen
ervoor zorgen dat dit product op een milieuvriendelijke
wijze wordt gerecycled.
› Garantie
De garantietermijn bedraagt 2 jaar, losse onderdelen
uitgezonderd. De garantietermijn loopt vanaf de datum
van aankoop. Als van de garantieregeling gebruik wordt
gemaakt, wordt de garantietermijn daardoor niet verlengd.
De garantie geldt voor fabricagefouten en materiaalfouten
van de originele onderdelen. Deze garantie geldt niet ten
aanzien van normale slijtage en van beschadigingen aan
het product ten gevolge van een ongeluk of verkeerd
gebruik, misbruik, gevolgen van aan het product
aangebrachte wijzigingen of het niet in acht nemen van de
gebruiksaanwijzingen, of vereiste technische instructies en/
of veiligheidsinstructies.
Indien het apparaat gerepareerd moet worden, moet er
contact opgenomen worden met de gespecialiseerde
dealer.
Gooi uw apparaat nooit weg in de vuilnis. Raadpleeg de
geldende gemeentelijke regels of breng het terug naar de
handelaar. Bewaar uw aankoopbon als garantiebewijs.
Carmen streeft ernaar om de kwaliteit en het design
continu te verbeteren. Daarom behoudt Carmen het recht
specificaties van haar producten te wijzigen.

prescriptions de sécurité appropriées
aux appareils électriques!
• Afin d’éviter tout dommage ou danger
suite à une utilisation inappropriée,
suivre attentivement le mode d’emploi
et le conserver avec précaution!
• Si l’appareil est donné à une autre
personne, y joindre le mode d’emploi!
• Le cordon d’alimentation de cet
appareil ne peut pas être remplacé.
Si le cordon ou la prise sont
endommagés, l’appareil ne peut plus
être réparé, il doit être éliminé!
• La tension de la source de courant
doit correspondre aux indications de la
plaque signalétique!
• Ne pas tirer le cordon sur des arêtes
pointues, ne pas le coincer ou le laisser
pendre. Protéger le cordon contre la
chaleur et l’humidité!
• Avant chaque utilisation, vérifier que

l’appareil est en parfait état, ne pas le
mettre en service, si:
- le cordon est endommagé
- l’appareil présente des
dommages visibles
- l’appareil est tombé par terre
• Ne jamais enrouler le cordon
d’alimentation autour de l’appareil!
• Ne brancher la fiche dans la prise de
courant que lorsque l’appareil est
éteint!
• Seuls des spécialistes sont autorisés
à eectuer les réparations. Des
mauvaises réparations peuvent être
source de dangers considérables!
• Les risques de blessures sont très
importants si les équipements
électriques ne sont pas utilisés
convenablement!
• Afin d’éviter toute mauvaise utilisation
inopinée, ranger cet appareil dans un
endroit sûr.

est interdit aux enfants de jouer avec

enfants non suveillés.

plastique) ne doit pas être laissé à la

Attention! Risque d’électrocution!
• Ne jamais utiliser l’appareil avec les
mains mouillées, dans une baignoire,
sous la douche ou au-dessus d’un
lavabo rempli d’eau. Cependant,
si l’appareil tombe dans l’eau,
débrancher immédiatement la fiche.
Ne mettre en aucun cas les mains dans
l’eau si l’appareil est encore branché!
• AVERTISSEMENT! Ne pas
utiliser cet appareil à proximité
d’une baignoire, d’ne douche
ou d’autres récipients contenant de

• Afin d’éviter d’abîmer les cheveux, ne
jamais tenir la grille de sortie d’air trop
proche des cheveux!

• Ne pas recouvrir les ouvertures
d’aspiration et de sortie d’air pendant
que l’appareil est en fonctionnement!
• Débranchez l’appareil si vous
interrompez le séchage pendant un
temps assez long!
• L’appareil est équipé d’une protection
anti-surchaue, qui met l’appareil
hors tension en cas de surcharge (p.
ex. lorsque les ouvertures de sortie
d’air ou d’aspiration sont recouvertes).
Si l’appareil s’arrête en cours de
fonctionnement, placer l’interrupteur
sur „0“ et attendre environ 5 minutes
avant de remettre l’appareil en marche!
• Une protection supplémentaire est
oerte grâce à l’installation dans votre
habitation d’un dispositive de sécurité
qui coupe le circuit électrique si
l’ampérage dépasse 30 mA! Consultez
votre électricien.
• Débrancher l’appareil:
- en cas d’arrêt de fonctionnement
- avant chaque nettoyage
- après utilisation
• Ne pas porter ou tirer l’appareil par le
cordon!

Usage
• Utilisez ce produit en combinaison avec des bigoudis!
• Après avoir lavé les cheveux, frictionnez-les avec une
serviette.
• Il est possible d’utiliser un fixateur ou du gel.
• Rouler les cheveux mi-secs sur des bigoudis pour obtenir
la coiure désirée.
• Brancher le casque sur l’appareil.
• Utilisez la sangle règlable pour faciliter l’usage incluse.
• Placer le casque sur les cheveux. Le casque doit être
moulant et non-enlacé. Les sorties d’air doivent être
dirigées vers l’intérieur.
• Insérez la fiche dans la prise de courant.
• Choisissez la température avec le commutateur.
• La longueur du câble vous permet de bouger avec le
casque.
› Nettoyage et entretien
Veillez à toujours débrancher l’appareil pour le nettoyer.
Ne le plonger jamais dans l’eau. Protégez-le contre la
poussière.
De temps à autre, nettoyez la grille des fentes de ventilation
à l’aide d’un fin pinceau pour enlever poussière et cheveux.
Vous pouvez nettoyer l’appareil avec un chion légèrement
humide et le sécher ensuite avec un chion sec.
› Environment et mise au rebut
Le matériel d’emballage, l’appareil et les accessoires sont
fabriqués en matériaux recyclables.
Le tri et la mise au rebut des matériaux restants selon les
règles facilitent leur recyclage.
Ce symbole indique que dans toute l’Union européenne,
ce produit ne doit pas être jeté avec d’autres déchets
ménagers.
Pour éviter toute atteinte possible à l’environnement ou à
la santé humaine par une élimination non contrôlée des

La garantie couvre ce produit pour une periode de 2 ans, a
l’exception des pieces individuelles, a compter de la date
initiale d’achat. L’utilisation de la garantie n’entraine pas
une extension de la periode de garantie. La garantie couvre
les vices de fabrication et les defauts materiels sur les
pieces d’origine.
Cette garantie ne comprend pas l’usure normale et
l’endommagement du produit par accident, mauvais
usage, usage abusif, alteration du produit ou utilisation
incompatible avec les instructions techniques et/ou
consignes de securite requises.
Si votre produit necessite une reparation, vous devez

Gerät dennoch einmal ins Wasser

der Stecker zu ziehen, da die Nähe

• Das Gerät im Betrieb nie auf weiche

Kissen oder Decken legen!
• Gerät und Netzkabel nicht auf heiße
Flächen wie Herdplatten o.ä. stellen
bzw. legen und nicht in direkte Nähe
von oenen Flammen bringen!
• Um Beschädigungen des Haares zu
vermeiden, Luftaustrittsönung niemals
zu dicht an das Haar halten!
• Während des Betriebes die Luftansaug
und Austrittsönung nicht abdecken!
• Gerät während längerer Unterbrechung
des Trockenvorganges abschalten!
• Das Gerät ist mit einem
Überhitzungsschutz ausgerüstet,
der bei Überlastung (z.B. wenn
Luftaustritts- oder Ansaugönung
verdeckt wird) abschaltet. Sollte
das Gerät während des Betriebes

Verwendung
• Verwenden Sie immer dieses Produkt in Kombination mit
Lockenwickler!
• Nach dem Waschen zuerst die Haare gut abfrottieren.
• Es kann je nach Wunsch Haarfestiger verwendet werden.
• Die noch feuchten Haare auf Lockenwickler drehen und
somit die gewünschte Frisur vorbereiten.
• Der Trockenhaube auf die Luftaustrittsönung des
Gerätes stecken.
• Verwenden Sie der verstellbaren Riemen für die einfache
Nutzung
• Setzen Sie den Haartrockner auf dem Haar. Die
Trockenhaube muß glatt und nicht verschlungen
aufliegen. Die Luftaustrittsönungen müssen nach innen
zeigen.
• Stecken Sie dann den Netzanschlußstecker in die
Steckdose.
• Mit dem Schiebeschalter stellen Sie die gewünschte
Temperatur.
• Sie können sich mit der aufgesetzten Trockenhaube frei
bewegen, soweit das Anschlußkabel des Gerätes reicht.
› Reinigung und Pflege
Sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Gerät nicht mehr an die
Steckdose angeschlossen ist, wenn Sie es reinigen. Niemals
ins Wasser tauchen. Schützen Sie Ihr Gerät gegen Staub.
Reinigen Sie ab und zu das Belüftungsgitter mit einem
feinen Pinsel, um Staub und Haare zu entfernen. Sie können
das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen und danach mit
einem trockenen Tuch abreiben.

Verpackungsmaterial sowie Gerät und Zubehör sind aus

Use
• Always use this product combined with curlers!
• Dry your hair using a towel after washing.
• A hair strengthening product can first be applied to the
hair if required.
• It is best to put the curlers in when your hair is still towel
dry.
• Connect the hood onto the air opening of the appliance.
Ensure that the hood is firmly fastened to the appliance.
• Use the adjustable carrying strap for easy use.
• Position the hood over the hair to be styled. The hood
must be positioned flat and not in a creased manner.
• Insert the plug in the socket.
• Use the switch to regulate the required temperature.
• You can move freely with the hair drier within the length
of the mains cable.

Ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the mains
